The man behind the curtain, Dan Traxler EA
Dan Traxler is the president and owner of Traxler & Associates, Inc. As a father of two and husband of one, he has worked hard for 34 years to provide for his family, while continuing to run a highly successful tax business. He received a bachelor’s degree from Biola College, and a master’s degree from Southern States University. Dan is an Enrolled Agent with the Internal Revenue Service. Dan is also a Fellow of the National Tax Practice Institute. Only Enrolled Agents are required to demonstrate to the IRS their competence in matters of taxation before they may represent a taxpayer before the IRS. Unlike attorneys and CPAs, who may or may not choose to specialize in taxes, all Enrolled Agents specialize in taxation. Enrolled Agents are the only taxpayer representatives who receive their right to practice from the U.S. government (CPAs and attorneys are licensed by the states).
Dan is an avid history buff, focusing on the Old West of the United States. Dan grew up near Earp California and has a good knowledge of Wyatt Earp and the Earp family in California. Dan also has hiked throughout the California Sierra Nevada mountains, surviving and thriving in the outdoors. Dan also plays trumpet In the Amador Community Concert Band. He is also a long range motorcycle rider and has traveled across the US four times. His goal is to ride in all of our 50 states.
Behind every good man there is a good woman.
Julie Traxler, Dan’s wife, runs her own successful Financial Services company, Traxler Financial. She is licensed by the State of California as a Covered California Agent. Besides being a gorgeous young blond, Julie enjoys her four grand kids, singing in church, member of the Board of Education for Mountain Oaks School and travelling internationally. Julie currently works out of her home office in Ione, California
Dan and Julie travel extensively and have visited many interesting countries as well as most of the United States. One of their most enjoyable trips was to China the winter before the 2008 Olympics. Julie is patient with Dan and has gone on many motorcycle rides including one that took them across the entire US in 2009.
Traxler & Associates Inc. is now serving Northern California and the Gold County out of it’s office in Amador County. We are looking forward to serving and meeting new friends and clients as this new stage of our company moves forward. As we have always said, “Life is change and change is good”.
